Diversity

We know that diversity and inclusion are the keys to exceptional teamwork. Around the globe, we recruit people with special talents, skills, and potential, working relentlessly to create an environment where everyone can bring out the best in themselves.

We celebrate diversity in all its forms and offer lots of opportunities for exchange, as it is a top priority for us that you can be yourself – every single day.

Female

We advocate gender parity at all levels, promoting a corporate culture that opens paths into strategic leadership positions. And it is not only your professional goals that matter to us but your personal goals as well.

We foster a culture that paves the way for women into strategic leadership positions. It is important to us that you achieve not only your professional but also your personal goals.

  • With individual training programs, we accompany and promote your entire career. You’ll receive training tailored to females and individual coaching.
  • Worried about a good work-life balance? Our flexible work models include part-time, internal roles, sabbaticals, home-office plans, and our 10+2-Model.
  • Our network Women@Bain supports your development and enables you to make local and global contacts. At events, forum discussions and informal meetings you’ll meet seasoned female consultants and benefit from a lively exchange with female Bainies at all levels.

LGBTQ+

Bain stands for diversity, openness and tolerance on all levels – regardless of whether you want to talk about your sexual orientation or not. With our network BGLAD we support gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) applicants and Bainies worldwide and respond to individual needs. We proved that we do this successfully and with a lot of passion in the UHLALA Group's "PRIDE Champion Audit“ and were awarded the “PRIDE Champion Gold” label.
In case you have any questions about BGLAD for our offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, please contact us: BGLAD.DACH@Bain.com.

It's incredibly important to me that inclusion is lived openly in the company, that I don't have to hide. Bain has completely convinced me on this aspect.

Non-business

Our Bainies’ different professional backgrounds are a great asset – both for us and our clients. After all, this is how we create completely new solutions: by looking at a problem from different angles. That is why we look for outstanding students and graduates from all fields.

Thanks to our generalist consulting approach, you’ll be able to explore different industries and choose your longer-term focus. And no matter what you choose, you won’t be on your own. We offer you:

  • Comprehensive training specifically tailored to non-business graduates, providing you with the business and management skills you’ll need for your work as a consultant.
  • Individual coaching from an experienced Bainie with a similar background.
  • A large network of Bainies with non-business backgrounds with a lively exchange across all levels of the organization.

CULTURAL AND SOCIAL EQUITY

“Diverse Teams, One Bain”: As a Bainie, you can bring your uniqueness to work every single day – we’ve long banned the word “typical” from our vocabulary. We embrace diversity at all levels, seek a variety of social, religious and ethnic backgrounds as well as talents from all ages. We work hard to ensure everyone feels a part of the Bain family from day one.

  • Before you actually start working, we’ll be there to help you get established. We assist you in applying for a visa, book you into German language classes, help you get started in your networking with peers, and much more.
  • You may also choose to join one of our dedicated networks to discuss your experiences in the trust-based setting of a group of like-minded people. For a selection of our so-called affinity groups, click here.
  • For a very special kind of support, you’ll have a personal mentor – your companion and confidant in all things related to Bain, and your go-to person whenever you have questions on consulting topics, need an open ear to share your experiences, or want to get a second opinion.
