Our successful employees are the basis for our sustainable corporate success. Only together with them can we continue to grow as a company. The recruiting team is responsible for recruiting new consultants at Bain and thus ensures that enough excellent employees are hired every year and that the corresponding growth targets are achieved. In addition, the recruiting team takes care of topics such as employer branding and the organization and implementation of the entire selection and recruitment process for the German-speaking region.
Consistent media work is essential to position Bain & Company as one of the world's leading strategy consultancies. The Marketing & Communication team at Bain is therefore responsible for B2B marketing, press work and looking after the alumni network. The main daily tasks include relationship management, organization and implementation of customer events, supervision and publication of Bain studies and analysis.
Once new consultants have been hired, our Staffing & Consultant Development team takes over from Recruiting, managing Bainies’ professional and personal development and taking care of their skill-building and personal mentoring. The team is also responsible for consultants’ assignment to client projects, and for their integration into the local and global Bain community.
The legal department handles all legal matters of the Bain Group globally, regionally and locally. This includes contracts with customers as well as with suppliers, corporate governance and compliance issues and the relevant training. As part of the legal department, you are not only the direct contact for consultants and business functions employees, especially from the EMEA region, but also from other regions and for the legal departments of our customers.
Our Finance department is responsible for accounting, payroll, taxes and controlling, and entire area of financial engineering. As a member of the Finance team, you’ll always keep an eye on strategic and operational measures, assessing their impact on the company’s profitability.
As an assistant, you not only relieve our consultants of all organizational issues such as customer correspondence, coordination of trips and meetings and much more, but also support the management with research and various specific projects.
State-of-the-art technologies and applications are essential to our work. As a member of the IT department, you’ll be responsible for everything related to our internal IT system and databases: You’ll be involved in selecting, testing, and implementing appropriate IT tools and services as well as in our network and security management.
Our consultants need information in every project phase. As part of the Research and Data Services team you will support them in obtaining and processing information and in data analysis. You will be in close contact with our colleagues abroad in order to make optimal use of our information synergies.
Knowledge management is critical to harnessing the individual and collective expertise of Bain consultants and making it available to the organization. The Knowledge Management department plays a central role in the global exchange of information. It works with all sectors of industry and ensures that our partners and advisory teams can support our customers efficiently.
The entire infrastructure of our offices wants to be "managed" – from the first reception of visitors and customers at the reception to mail processing and the administration of the office space to the purchase of office supplies, food and technical equipment. In the Office Services & Reception department, you ensure that everything runs smoothly in and around the building.
Mobility on business trips – this is particulary important for our consultants who travel regularly, but also e.g. for our recruiting candidates who need support in their travel arrangements. As part of your tasks, you are the contact person for individual advice and travel planning for our employees.
Professional presentations are a company's calling card. At Bain & Company, they form the basis for a successful appearance at our customers. As an employee in the Creative Services department, your main task is to visualize complex content from consulting projects for professional presentation documents in an easily understandable and appealing way.
For project support, we regularly hire working students with excellent analytical skills who support our project teams with research activities, translations and the preparation of results in PowerPoint, among other things.
